Hey, I almost ordered the Merchant of Marvels etc, the other day, but wasn't sure how many illos it had in it - I am very babyish and like as many pics as possible...you'll have to give feedback when it comes. AND I want to see a palette of your new watercolours when you get them. Not too many requests then..:)

Hello Sarah and Gretel :)

I do hope it has lots of illustrations Gretel! I'll be disappointed if it hasn't... :(
And promise to post colours once I get them...they say 4-6 weeks...goodlord, I don't think I can wait that long...but I'll try!

Sarah, thank you so much for visiting my blog and adding me to your links..!
I've added you to mine too...I don't know why, but all the links have gone the bottom of the page...I'll have to check the template and see if I can fix it..tsk

Hey Maya,
Did you know that Daniel Smith is based here in Seattle? I've taken workshops there a number of times. Plus, get to sale shop. :-) They do make good paint.

Do give us a 'book review' when you get these and let us know how you like them.

My latest color book is by Betty Edwards (as in "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain"), called, "Color". She has some cool things to say, and lots of exercises. It's like a college class. And since I'm supposedly putting together a color theory curriculum for my fall classes (in all my spare time - argh!), I am enjying her.

Ohhh..Lucky you Tlc :)
I've been wanting to get my hands on those Daniel Smith paints for years now, and kept putting off ordering some, for one reason or another
...and you get to go to their sales and workshops too...arrgggg
ENVY!!!!

I like the sound of that book too...I will look it up and add it to my wish list, and buy it next time Im in "therapy" :)

My books should arrive early next week hopefully! I'll tell all about them once I've read them a little...Promise!! :)
