Ad astra per aspera
lovely images maya, as always x
That birdcage image is fantastic Maya:¬)
What beautiful images to have on your wall.I love the way it's like you are looking through a window onto a wonderful birdy landscape!Ericaxx
They are (of course) beautiful, but I always imagined your work would be tiny and it's HUGE!!! Well, the paper is anyway. OR am I looking at it oddly?
hehe, I agree Gretel - I was just about to say - I didn't realise the size of your paintings Maya, I too imagined them to be tiny! They are gorgeous, I love your 'bird phase'!
Thankyou lovely people for the words of encouragement :Dumm...I think the photo may be a liiitle misleading...They aren't really big, the bigest is A4 (otherwise it wouldn't fit in my scanner, hehe)...
I love those new bird images. : )
Be-au-tiful colours, the night-time blues and fresh greens. I love the simplicity of the birdcage (I always find myself getting hung up on how many bars they 'should' have, the spacing they 'should' have etc, but yours is utterly convincing and so much more readable for the simplicity!)I had thought the larger one was closer to A3, I think its the closeness and angle of the photo. Big posters of your work would be great - I'm sure they'd sell like hotcakes.
