I counted one thousand seven hundred and twenty three

I was feeling all mixed up inside....
Like someone had taken a large wooden spoon and had given my spirit a heavy stir...
I wasn't feeling well and needed to balance my thoughts somehow...
So I sat at my window, like I do at times like these, and started counting crows gliding lazily through the cobalt sky...
one crow
two...
forty five.....
one thousand seven hundred and twenty three.....

but...
then they suddenly stopped appearing.
Not a black sleepy bird in sight!
"Thats odd", I thought to myself.

...and I wasn't feeling any better...
usually they dissappear when I can't count any more...

Swooooooooooooooooooooooooosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all at once....one thousand seven hundred and twenty three crows, turned the sky into a gigantic piece of shimmering coal velvet....and following them attached to a long piece of purple ribbon ...a parcel!

Boom!

Before I can shake the surprise of the scene I have just experienced,
the parcel comes flying through the window followed by a shower
of black feathers,
silk ribbons
and cobalt glass.
Im left all black and blue (and purple) on my bedroom floor.

"arrrrrrrr....the SSOF have striked again!!!!!And again they have caught me offguard!"
I open the parcel hastily...
...its contents are a stroke of genius!!!
Perfect in every way! :)
