Easter...

... :)

Yesterday afternoon I turned into a "Soupmaster" making what seemed, endless batches of egg and lemon soup and then delivering them to friends...after that was done, I cleaned the house and then hurried to get ready for midnight mass.
My girlfriends and I decided to go to a remote stone built monastery for the service which is situated in the middle of an olive grove.
It was a warm clear spring night...we all felt a comforting sense of peace while standing in the monastery's garden, holding our candles and listening to the nuns chant...
My eyes couldn't stop noticing little delicate details in the garden....
bright, almost neon white jasmine flowers covering a wooden door, diy swallow's nests made by the nuns out of cardboard hanging in the corners of the stone walls, tealights symmetricly placed around the flower beds...
In what seemed a "desperate moment" where I felt compelled to document every little perfect thing around me, I found myself praying for a camera...
We left this spiritual oasis and headed back home around 2 am, for soup and some red wine which was a lovely way to end a near perfect night...

It sounded lovely. I'm so glad you got to go and experience.

Your lemon soup sounds yummy as well - post the recipe sometime?
