I know I should have devoted all day to writing, but I managed to steal a little time (couldn't stay away from my paints) and do a little profiling for my character...There was a thread about family names on the aoi forum( my virtual home...lol) and that inspired me to build a "family backround" for my character, even if the characters above (mother inlaw, etc...) are not going to be in the book...(mind you, the aubergine might crop up on a page or two)...and above is the result...

The eggplant (aubergine) is my favorite!!! (Although all of the characters are delightful).
They are so fabulous, where do they all come from! You've got all these little people living in your head, it's very very cool.
I hope your book gets snapped up soon by an eager publisher.
The eggplant looks so downcast! Doesn't it realise it won first place? Or is considering the short lifespan of legumes?
