revelations day

Certainly was when I woke up today and the idea that had been dancing in my brain for a while seemed to have reached a conclusion. Finally a new project is born, and today was my first day working on it. Cannot reveal too much as it is in a fairly rough form at the moment but it does have a moon theme again...lol
I was thinking of that post I wrote about asking father christmas for a great book project for 2006. Why wait? No better time then now to start working on my own"dream" project. I can't wait forever for the perfect book project, especially when I already know what it would be in my head.
Maybe I am a silly, romantic, dreamer...but sod it. Thats who I am... I dream things up and then paint them or write about them.
I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
Now back to work!!

Romantic and a dreamer - but Not At All silly.

(Previous deleted post was me, getting fussy about typos!)

Hello Gretel... :)

I am in an embarassing emotional state right now..one of my two pet birds died this morning. I have had him for six years...I have been crying for two hours straight like a baby. He was a wonderful pet (his name was Louvre) and he was a mad little thing allways up to no good and made me smile even in my saddest hours.

Sorry to hear that Maya, hope you're feeling better now. It's the worst thing about pets....

Thank you Gail
sorry to be this silly...I wish I wouldn't get this emotional (one of the things I wish I could change about my self). Am trying to work, so not to think about it.

Hello Maya- ever wondered if your magical talent of imagination and beautiful pictures comes from your emotional sensitivity? Sorry to hear about your little bird, that is sad.

Happy thoughts for your new project, it's very exciting when you get that first glimmer of a new project isn't it? Perhap your little bird could appear in it here and there.

Lorna thank you for your lovely post...you read my mind....Louvre is going to inevetibly be appearing a lot in my work...flying up there somewhere, or maybe perched happily on the moon!:)

We get so attached to these little creatures, you will miss him dreadfully - he was your friend for six years, and he'll live forever in your pictures.

It's the price we pay for loving them so dearly...
