I love reading Haiku.
The most interesting selections of poems I have bought cost me about 25p.
The poems are so simple yet provoke so many images. They are a great source of inspiration.
The Haiku below is by Basho, my favourite Haiku poet so far. The little illustration beside it was made using a very rough sketch of a seagull, then playing about with it in photoshop for half an hour. It isn't really the style I usually use to illustrate, but I always like to experiment in my "free" time. You never know where it may lead!!
